Go Clean: 3 Myths

This was the last week of the GO Clean Campaign... parent style.

I'm so thankful that God gave Luke the strength to keep preaching his heart out after the weekend. It was a great word that we all needed to hear. I think these messages are going to be put up as podcasts (exciting!!!) but they haven't yet... so I'll write here what I think were the good points and statements.

from 1 Corinthians 6
1. 'the how far is too far myth' - problematic because it's the spirit of the law vs. the letter of the law...essentially being a slave to impulse.

2. Compartimentalism (sp?) Myth - slivers of your life are independent of one another. false. EVERYTHING is connected. "Your actions will amount to nothing more and nothing less than the choices you make."

3. 'Your body belongs to you' - false. Your body belongs to the Lord - He made you and went to the cross & bought you.

"So glorify God with your body" - it's an obligation.

Lastly, Everyone is going dirty, let's GO Clean!
