wednesday commentary...

i couldn't not blog about high school group because it was just that good...

it was april fools day so naturally (:)) we did a night about 3 proverbs... luke, nick & landon all preached on one.

proverbs 10:14
The wise lay up knowledge,
but the mouth of a fool brings ruin near.

the wise store up....where as the fool thinks that their mouth can get them out of anything.

proverbs 13:1
A wise son hears his father's instruction,
but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.

bottom line: do you listen to your parents or do you think you know better?
are you asking wise people for wisdom or just anyone? are you making decisions that bring the most glory to God?

proverbs 29:11
A fool gives full vent to his spirit,
but a wise man quietly holds it back.

the fool does exactly what they feel in a moment of excitement, passion, intensity... they are rash and have no self control. the wise waits and quietly holds back to make a wise choice.

where are you foolish and where are you wise....
